This GT3 Timing belt is made of Neoprene and has Fiberglass Cords for strength. It's great for your automation projects.
The teeth on this belt are more like a rack system. The belt is thicker than standard MXL or GT2 (2mm) and is great for use with Nema 23 size motors where deep tooth engagement is a necessity.
If your project requires a belt with a strong grip, GT3 is what you are looking for!
